Batam Malls

The most popular Batam malls are Grand Batam, Nagoya Hill, BCS, Mega Mall and DC Mall. Most are located in the Nagoya area.

At Grand Batam you’ll find the latest addition to Batam Malls.  Here you can browse a large selection of shops many of which are branded franchises.  From here you won’t have too far to walk to BCS mall as they are only a few hundred meters apart.

You’ve probably heard of Nagoya Hill Mall.  It’s been one of Batam’s most popular malls for many years. There’s a large selection of shops and department stores.  Nagoya Hill is also well known for having lots of choices for Spas.

At BCS mall (short for Batam City Square) you’ll find lots of smaller shops and clothing boutiques. There is also a fairly good supermarket known as JC.  BCS mall is quite popular because it’s located next to A2 food court which is a popular Batam Hawker Center.

DC mall is where you’ll find your bargains. The ground floor is mostly made of of small kiosks selling cheaper items.  There’s also lots of computer and laptop repair stalls here.  The top floor is almost entirely dedicated to furniture stores.

If your ferry arrives at Batam Center then you’ll find Mega Mall right next door.  Not as complete as the malls in Nagoya & Penuin but still a good  place to start your shopping in Batam.  The majority of stores here are food outlets which is ideal if you’ve just arrived and hungry after your journey or need a snack before returning home.
