Happy Puppy is located in the heart of Nagoya Hill.  If you’re coming to Batam it is very likely you’ll visit Nagoya Hill at some time during your stay.  Many guests staying at our Nagoya apartments spend lots of time at Nagoya Hill  as it’s only a five minute walk.  They tell us that Happy Puppy is a great choice.

You can find Happy Puppy throughout Indonesia. They have outlets in many cities and have been doing Karaoke longer than many others. Their outlay and set up is very traditional. They have small booths as well as larger rooms set up with everything you will need at the touch of a button.

If privacy is important to you, Happy Puppy is a great place to do your singing.  You can choose from tens of thousands of songs in most Asian languages as well as English of course.

If you get a little hungry or thirsty, they have a selection of drinks and snacks available at reasonable prices.

Karaoke Batam – Inul Vista

Inul Vista have two outlets for you to choose from in Batam.  The main one and most popular is also in the Nagoya Hill complex on the eastern side close to the Nagoya exit gate.  You can find the second location in Batam Center at Kepri Mall.

At Inul Vista you can choose from several rooms of different sizes and themes.  They have rooms of various sizes that cater from couples up to groups of around 40.  Great if you want to arrange a party for larger groups.

Inul vista have won awards for their karaoke, so you can be sure of a professional experience.  They’re big on technology too, don’t worry if you’re one of those singers that can’t strike a note, Inul Vista have devices to adjust your voice into that of a superstar.

Nav Karaoke

Nav karaoke bar specializes for both families and children.  They are very focused on providing a great family experience.  Nav karaoke consoles have special options and facilities for families, adults and even senior citizens.

Karaoke at Naz uses all the latest technology with touch screens gibing you access to thousands of titles with just a few touches.

Like most karaoke bars, all the songs are offered in most Asian languages and English.  If you’re a regular visitor to karaoke bars, Naz have membership programs which not only give you discounts but also access to free rooms for special occasions.

You can find Nav on the west side of Nagoya Hill in the outer (ruko) buildings .  From within the mall, it is easier to locate by walking through the Matahari department store and exiting their private entrance near the shoe sales area.

Batam Karaoke  – ALEGRO F-KTV

Not too far away from Nagoya Hill is the popular Nagoya City Walk.  If you stand among the many rides at city walk and look up, on the opposite side to the 3D museum, you will see Alegro F-KTV karaoke.

Alegro have rooms from small to large which can cater for up to thirty guests. If you choose their VIP room, it has its own toilet!  If you’ve been to Batam before you will know what a blessing a private clean toilet can be 🙂

The very best in technology is used at Alegro.  you are given Android tablets for controlling your choice of song.  Alegro claim to have more than 80,000 song titles in their extensive library, so finding your favorites should be easy.

Great reviews for this place make it a must for all you serious karaoke lovers. When you hear the exceptional sound for yourself, you will understand why.

Morena Pub & KTV

You need to be aware, that a visit to Morena Pub is a strictly adult experience.  You will find Morena a great place to sit and chat with your friends.  In addition to this Morena is known as a place where you can seek ‘companionship’ with an emphasis on private rooms.  They have special dance shows and are open and honest that their dancers are sexy.  Massage of course is offered as well.

Morena is located next door to the well known Windsor food court, so for you single men, this is a good location to combine a good meal with some karaoke and dare I say some dessert 😉

Master Piece Karaoke

The full title for this long established karaoke bar is Ahmed Dhani Master Piece.  Ahamad Dani is a very famous Indonesian pop star.  He has though spent most of his recent years attempting to enter Indonesian politics.

You’ll find several master piece karaoke centers throughout major Indonesian cities.  They offer karaoke in the cheaper price range and a look at their reviews show them to be average when it comes to what’s on offer as awell as service.

Master Piece in Batam is located at Kepri mall like Inul Vista.  The local Batam press often post special offers for Master Piece so I would advise you to search first to see if there’s some bargains available.

Square Club

If you’re a regular visitor to Batam you’ve probably seen the square logo on several cars.  When they first launched, square embarked on a huge advertising campaign and got their brand name literally everywhere.

Square club is more of a night club experience where you can also join in with some Karaoke. They have great reviews for live bands and excellent DJ’s.  Some of which come from all over Indonesia.  Square is famous for themed nights and special offer

More than just karaoke.  Square club is a venue for great entertainment for those coming to Batam for night life.  What’s more, this is a club for singles couples as well as groups.  Square reviews always seem to mention the staff and how friendly and polite they are too.

Batam Karaoke  – Thrive

The best way I can describe Thrive is it’s a place for the boys to play hard and let their hair down.  thrive is located away from the centre of Nagoya on the road to Batam Ampar.  It’s a purpose built games and karaoke center offering football, billiards and of course a karaoke bar.

I wouldn’t advise you to take your wife or girl friend there.  I can assure you your visit will not be a long one once they’ve seen the sexy girls that work there.  This is all out for men really and an alternative to many that seek some female companionship in the bars at Kampung Bule (westerners village to translate it literally).

The rates tough are good here.  thrive stays open late and does have very large rooms.  So if you’re in a group and looking for a place that stays open and has a little more than just karaoke then Thrive is different.

Alternative Options for Karaoke in Batam

To enjoy karaoke in Batam, you don’t just have to go to bespoke karaoke bars and centers.  There’s often a karaoke machine in many of the seafood restaurants in both Barelang and Tanjung Piayu.

Many food courts have a karaoke machine and even employ singers that will happily allow you to join in for a duet.  Windsor is well known for this.

Some of the main bars also offer karaoke nights not to mention many resorts and hotels that put on special karaoke in their bars and restaurants.
